Renata SMT Battery Holders for lithium coin cells are available in horizontal or vertical versions. Renata SMT Battery Holders offer low contact resistance, safe retention of coin cells, and state-of-the-art solderability. These battery holders are also available in tape-and-reel packaging.

SMTU Coin Cell Battery Holders

Renata SMTU Coin Cell Battery Holders feature a safety clip that provides superior retention of coin cells, especially against shock and vibration. The standard range of the SMTU-C holders consists of sizes compatible with the CR1632, CR2032, and CR2430. The SMTU-G holder features gold-plated contacts for increased electrical conductivity. These gold-plated contacts also provide greater resistance to corrosion compared to nickel-plated contacts.
