Metal Can® PLT5 Laser Diodes

ams OSRAM PLT5 Laser Diodes are single transverse mode semiconductor lasers with a high modulation bandwidth and are available in green and blue colors. The PLT5 laser diodes are available in a T056 package with a photodiode and feature an efficient radiation source for Continuous Wave (CW) and pulsed operation. These laser diodes are available in different variants based on color, optical output power, and typical emission wavelength. Specific applications include laser projection, laser shows, biomedical applications, and metrology.

Metal Can® PLT3 Blue Laser Diode

ams OSRAM Metal Can^® PLT3 Blue Laser Diode is a single-mode semiconductor laser in a TO38 ICut package. This laser diode offers better beam quality, high modulation bandwidth, and tighter electro-optical tolerances. The PLT3 laser diode features a 450nm typical emission wavelength, 100mW typical peak output power, and 2V reverse voltage (T_case at 25°C). This laser diode is an efficient radiation source for Continuous Wave (CW) and pulsed operation. The PLT3 laser diode operates within the -20°C to 70°C temperature range. Typical applications include appliances and tools, entertainment, functional illumination, medical imaging, projection, visualization, and outdoor and industrial lighting.

Mini TOPLED® LEDs

ams OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs have been tailored to the demands of public and private passenger transport for high brightness and high quality. These LEDs combine pleasant white light with a much longer lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. OSRAM Mini TOPLED® LEDs are among the most economical on the market, consuming only 0.1W. From an operating current of 20mA, the Mini Topled achieves a typical luminous intensity of 1700mcd at a color temperature of 4000K, and 1900mcd at 6500K. Luminous intensity in candela corresponds to luminous flux in lumen emitted by a light source in a particular solid angle.
