Bourns ChipGuard® MLA Varistor ESD Clamp Protectors are developed especially to protect sensitive automotive electronics from the threat of ESD up to IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4. These components feature multilayered varistor technology and a proprietary insulating overcoat that provides low and stable leakage current, as well as quick response time (<0.5ns) and high transient current capability. Bourns MLA clamp protectors are particularly well-suited to meet the ESD protection needs of HDMI, CANbus, Ethernet, GPS, camera links, sensors, touchscreen interfaces, and other circuits sensitive to ESD.
