Brushless Motor Drivers

STMicroelectronics Brushless Motor Drivers are power drivers in a 3-phase bridge configuration. This includes built-in decoding logic for Hall-effect sensors, PWM current controller, and microcontroller, DSP or FPGA. The STMicroelectronics devices include protection and diagnostics for over-temperature, over-current, and under-voltage conditions. This results in robust and reliable designs. The drivers are available in a wide selection of space-saving, thermally enhanced packages. STSPIN 3-phase BLDC motor driver ICs provide a ready-to-use motor and motion control solution.

Motor Drivers

STMicroelectronics Motor Drivers are a wide range of motor drivers covering the requirements of brushed DC motors, stepper motors, and brushless DC motors. The drivers are offered in an extensive range of voltage and current ratings. STMicroelectronics STSPIN motor drivers embed all the functions needed to drive motors efficiently. This is achieved with high accuracy and includes an advanced motion profile generator.

DMOS Driver for 3-Phase Brushless DC Motors

STMicroelectronics DMOS Driver for 3-Phase Brushless DC Motors are fully integrated, with overcurrent protection, and is optimized for FOC application thanks to the independent current senses. Realized in BCDmultipower technology, the device combines isolated DMOS Power Transistors with CMOS and bipolar circuits on the same chip. STMicroelectronics DMOS Driver for 3-Phase Brushless DC Motors features a non dissipative overcurrent protection on the high side power MOSFETs and thermal shutdown.
