L4971 Step-Down Mono Power Switching Regulators

STMicroelectronics L4971 Step-Down Monolithic Power Switching Regulators deliver 1.5A at an output voltage adjustable from 3.3V to 50V. The voltage is selected by a simple external divider. The L4971 uses an internal power D-MOS transistor with a typical RDSON of 0.25Ω. This obtains a very high efficiency and high switching speed with an achievable switching frequency up to 300KHz. The maximum power dissipation of the packages must be observed. A wide 8V to 55V input voltage range and output voltages regulated from 3.3V to 50V cover the majority of today's applications.
