Film Capacitors

KEMET Film Capacitors are available as a complete line of power film and paper capacitors, available in both surface-mount and through-hole form factors. These devices are designed for use in all types of electronic equipment in various industries. KEMET Film Capacitors are ideal for power and alternative energy, industrial, telecommunications, automotive, military, medical, and consumer electronics.

Electromagnetic Interference Suppression Capacitor

KEMET's Electromagnetic Interference Suppression Capacitors meet EN/IEC 60384-17:2005 standards and are subdivided into two groups, X and Y. X Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor would not expose anybody to the danger of electric shock. Y Capacitors are for use in positions where a failure of the capacitor could expose somebody to a dangerous electric shock.

Group Power Conversion Components

YAGEO Group (YAGEO, Pulse, KEMET) designs passive component technologies that are critical in power conversion systems, including safety, snubber, and DC link capacitors; current sense and power resistors; and magnetic components such as transformers, common mode chokes, and inductors. R41 & R46 Series Film Capacitors

KEMET R41 and R46 Series Film Capacitors are metallized polypropylene Film Capacitors that have self-healing properties. The R41 and R46 Series Film Capacitors from KEMET are used as interference suppressors for across-the-line applications and are suitable for use where failure of the capacitor could lead to danger of electric shock. The R41 series replaces the R73 series.
