Position Sensing Interface Solutions

Analog Devices Inc. These sensors can measure the position of various mechanical systems. Some of these measurements include the position of the robot arm, angular position of electric motor shaft, linear displacement of a hydraulic valve, and position of aircraft flight control surfaces.

ADA4500-2 Crossover Distortion Amplifiers

Analog Devices ADA4500-2 zero input crossover distortion amplifiers are designed as 10MHz, 14.5nV/√Hz, low-power amplifiers featuring rail-to-rail input and output swings while operating from a 2.7V to 5.5V single power supply. ADA4500-2 is also compatible with industry-standard nominal voltages of +3.0V, +3.3V, +5.0V, and ±2.5V.

Optical Encoder Position Sensing Solutions

Analog Devices Inc. Optical Encoder Position Sensing Solutions feature highly accurate optical encoders that provide rotary and linear position feedback with resolution up to 26 bits. The optical encoders use a photosensor to detect light through a disk. Sine and cosine signals are interpolated to improve resolution. The encoder resolution is determined by the number of slots and the interpolation resolution. The Analog Devices Optical Encoders provide scalable solutions in both size and resolution.
